GO FISH

A fifteen-minute comedy

a quirky assembly of folk playing a common card game

Is anyone playing by the rules? Does it matter?

Roger                                      a shy and mild-mannered seventies-something who enjoys telling stories

Sarge                                      a seventies-something veteran, wears an old military cap

Lillian (aka Lil)                      a sixties-something woman who speaks in sing-song, rhythm  as it relates to                                                    the game

Nurse                                      younger woman, any age

Woman                                  mature woman, foot wrapped or in a boot, using cane or crutches

Will the interruptions hinder the story-telling? Can poetry be therapeutic?

Thanks to Daren W. and Ellen R.

Apologies to Mother Goose and poets everywhere.
